Travel Nurse RN - Psych - $2,383 per week in Bronx, NY

Job Title: RN - Psychiatric Unit Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Psychiatric Nursing Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Day and Night Shifts Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pediatric and/or psychiatric nursing experience. License: Current Client License and Registration as a Registered Professional Nurse Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) training, MAB or CPI certification required Must-Have: Current Client License and Registration as a Registered Professional Nurse Minimum of 1-2 years of inpatient pediatric and/or psychiatric nursing experience, preferably in child/adolescent behavioral health Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training Willingness to complete training in behavioral health nursing, including trauma-informed care and/or crisis prevention within 6 months of hire Description: RN - Psychiatric Nursing position available. Acute Care Psych RN experience is required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMHN-BC) is preferred. Experience in acute psychiatric settings is desired. An emphasis on trauma-informed care, crisis prevention, and therapeutic engagement is beneficial.
