Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Psychiatric - Adult Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current psychiatric nursing experience License: Current RN license in Vermont Certifications: - Current American Heart Association BLS - ACLS strongly preferred Must-Have: - Current phlebotomy experience - Ability to perform blood draws - Experience in small critical access facilities is preferred - Travel experience is preferred - Must have own vehicle Description: This position involves providing psychiatric services in an inpatient setting. The facility is an inpatient unit that offers treatment for individuals aged 18 and older. Referrals to the unit are made by crisis teams, emergency departments, and outpatient providers in the community. The unit has a total of 10 beds available. Requested time off during this assignment must be noted before submission as changes to time off requests after submission will not be accepted. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. Travelers may not take all holidays off and are expected to work during specified holiday periods. Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required as needed.
