Shift Timings: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM , Mon-Fri

  • Assist with the development and implementation of an effective organization-wide Infection Prevention and Control/Employee Health Program. 
  • Conducts surveillance and research activities designed to improve organizational performance in the areas of infection prevention and control and occupational health.
  • Serves as liaison to other government and community organizations.
  • Prepares epidemiological studies with statistical analysis involving infectious diseases, employee health, hospital programs, and system effectiveness.
  • Utilizes data in conjunction with performance improvement to improve patient outcomes.
  • Investigate infectious disease issues, and manage outbreaks and/or exposures in the hospital.
  • Develops, reviews, and revises hospital policies/procedures and programs.
  • Manages critical data and information including paper and electronic databases.
  • Communicates data analysis effectively to the Infection Control Committee, hospital organization, and external agencies.
  • Coordinates and implements recommendations of the Infection Prevention and Control Committee.
  • Assesses Educational needs of both patient and employee populations, develops appropriate curriculum; determines educational strategies and provides instruction to meet the needs of those needs in the areas of Infection Prevention and Control.
