Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to adult psychiatric patients
- Conduct thorough assessments and monitor patient progress
- Administer medications safely and accurately
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment for patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted RN license in Utah (or compact state)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of recent psychiatric nursing experience
- Ability to work night shifts and every third weekend
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and interventions
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
