Job Description:
Looking for a compassionate and patient-focused Geriatric Psych RN to provide specialized care for elderly patients with mental health and behavioral conditions. You will support patients through assessment, treatment, and ongoing emotional care in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor geriatric psychiatric patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Support patients with behavioral and emotional needs
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation
- Ensure patient safety and therapeutic care standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Geriatric Psych or Behavioral Health RN experience
- Active RN license
- BLS required
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced behavioral health environment
