Job Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact/multi-state RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient psychiatric experience
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current CPI certification
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Experience providing care in a behavioral health setting preferred for success in this role

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and the care team
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes in condition to physicians, nursing leadership, and coworkers as needed
• Support discharge planning and care transitions
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients in an inpatient psychiatric setting
• Document care accurately and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to promote positive outcomes
