Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health setting
• Active Ohio RN license or compact/multi-state RN license
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• CPI certification required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and patient advocacy skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced behavioral health team environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
• Complete psychiatric assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary team members
• Support patients and families with therapeutic, compassionate behavioral health care
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly and accurately
• Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for psychiatric patients
