Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing with at least two years of experience. This position focuses on providing high-quality care with a lower RN-to-patient ratio, emphasizing compassionate support for our patients.

Position Details

• Shifts: Evening/night shifts, including 8 and 12-hour schedules (1500-2330, 1900-0730, and 2300-0730).
• Weekend Rotation: Participation in weekend and holiday rotations as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in the psychiatric unit.
• Monitor and assess patients' mental health status and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish and implement treatment plans.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse required.
• Active RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Demonstrated experience in psychiatric nursing with a focus on supportive care, excluding medication distribution.
