Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate and adaptable Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RN) for a 16-week behavioral health assignment in West Virginia. This opportunity is ideal for nurses passionate about mental health care and committed to supporting patients through assessment, treatment, education, and recovery.
As a Psychiatric RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use disorders while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to promote patient safety and well-being.
Shifts: Flexible; must be available for days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Openings: 14

Compensation
Travel Package
Estimated Weekly Pay: Up to $2,182/week
Taxable Hourly Rate: $25.50/hr
Meals Stipend: $413/week
Housing Stipend: $749/week
Overtime: 1.5x after 40 hours worked
Local Pay
$50.00/hr
Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate psychiatric nursing care.
Monitor patients experiencing mental health and behavioral health conditions.
Provide therapeutic communication and crisis intervention when needed.
Administer medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, therapists, and healthcare teams.
Support patient and family education related to mental health treatment and recovery.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with facility policies.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Active RN license in the state of practice.
Current CPR certification (if applicable).
TB screening documentation (if applicable).
Current health certificate per contract or state requirements.
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Experience
At least 1 year of acute psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
New graduates will be considered.
Candidates must have full schedule flexibility and minimal requested time off.
