Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN)

Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join an inpatient behavioral crisis stabilization unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychiatric nursing and have the skills necessary to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients aged 18 to 60+
• Work effectively within a team to manage patient ratios of 1:7 to 8
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
• Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing required; a maximum of 3 years of psychiatric experience may be considered for first-time travelers
• Active Registered Nurse license in Montana or compact license is required
• Current BLS certification is mandatory
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification must be active and submitted
