Experience Required

• Minimum 1 year of Psychiatric Nursing experience
• Medical-Surgical or Acute Care experience preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active Washington State RN License or Compact RN License
• BLS Certification
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) Certification

Required Skills

Candidates should have experience with:

• Psychiatric assessments
• De-escalation techniques
• Managing patients in physical restraints
• Behavioral crisis intervention
• Safe patient management

Floating

• May float to:
  • Medical-Surgical units (within scope)
  • Patient sitter assignments

Weekend Requirement

• 2 weekends per month
