Job Summary:
Psychiatric Nurse specializing in substance abuse treatment is needed to staff a detox unit in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The position involves working on a dedicated detox unit with a focus on substance abuse experiences. The assignment is scheduled to start on 08/31/2026, with evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. The candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health and substance abuse services within the organizations mental health and addiction programs.

Job Details:

• Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license, current behavioral health/substance abuse experience within the past year, at least 2 years of substance abuse experience, Massachusetts RN license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, previous travel experience of at least 6 months, own vehicle, and the candidate's permanent address must be included in the profile.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred.
• Additional Information: This is a detox unit dedicated to substance abuse treatment. Candidates must include all requested scheduling requests at the time of submission, and any requests for time off must be verified and submitted prior to the offer to avoid delays. RTO requests should not exceed 5 days. Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable as dress code. The unit is part of a comprehensive mental health and substance abuse program with a collaborative team of psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and social workers.
