The role involves collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and implementing evidence-based practices throughout patient care activities.
Job Details
Position: Radiology Nurse
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: NYS Registered Nurse License, BLS, ACLS, minimum 2 years of RN experience, minimum 2 years of ambulatory and radiation safety experience, at least 1 year of travel experience for travel positions (not required for per diem positions), EPIC experience highly preferred, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred, Associate degree considered with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program
Schedule: 9:00 AM 7:30 PM, 38 hours per week
Additional Responsibilities: Delivers patient care by incorporating Relationship Centered Care principles and the nursing process, assesses patient needs, educates patients and caregivers, and manages assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Conducts purposeful hourly rounding, supports clinical colleagues, and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications: PALS, relevant clinical experience in ambulatory and radiation safety, proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EPIC)
