Job Summary:
Radiology Department registered nurse position in New York. The clinical nurse is responsible for providing safe, competent, and high-quality patient care, utilizing evidence-based nursing practices, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and operational efficiency within a hospital environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 7.5-hour shifts, 37.5 hours per week, starting on 08/31/2026.
- Required Qualifications: NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license, BSN preferred; associate degree in nursing with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN program. Minimum of 2 years RN experience; 2 years of ambulatory and radiation safety experience; experience with radiology procedures is preferred; BLS and ACLS certifications; experience with EPIC software is highly preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac CT, Cardiology, Patient Monitoring, Radiology.
- Additional Information: The RN will perform patient care duties within the Radiology Department, including assessing patient needs, educating patients and caregivers, supporting safety initiatives, and collaborating with healthcare team members. Responsibilities include managing patient flow, documenting care accurately, and participating in quality improvement activities. The role involves charge nurse duties, resource coordination, and promoting a safe environment through adherence to institutional safety protocols.
