Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in related field License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required Must-Have: - Cat Scan and MRI experience preferred, but training will be provided to qualified candidates. - Strong foundational knowledge and ability to apply critical thinking skills in rhythm interpretation are essential for success. Description: This position is for the Radiology Department, primarily in the CT and MRI departments. The shift will be from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM. Patient care will involve assisting with diagnostic imaging procedures. Knowledge of adult acute care, CT, and MRI is preferred. Candidates must possess the ability to float to different units as needed. A Basic Arrhythmia Exam is required for this position. This exam requires the independent interpretation of cardiac rhythms using EKG strips. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to accurately analyze EKG strips and calculate heart rates. All modules and training are self-reported and recorded for compliance.
