Description:
Radiology RNs will perform multiple duties within the department.
Responsibilities include coverage across multiple sites in Radiology within a 75-mile radius.
Candidates must be prepared to complete a Basic Arrhythmia Exam.
This exam requires independent interpretation of cardiac rhythms using EKG strips.
A score of 80% is required to pass, and no re-takes are allowed.
Travelers must begin lab work within 2 business days of acceptance, or they may face cancellation.
Floating may be required to accommodate patient needs.
Modules will need to be completed annually and will vary by specialty.
The exam will include different types of cardiac rhythms and essential interpretation skills will be necessary for success.
Strong foundational knowledge and critical thinking skills in rhythm interpretation are critical.
