Travel Nurse RN - Registered Nurse First Assistant - $2,687 per week in Mauston, WI

**Exciting Opportunity: WI RN First Assist - Day Shift (Monday-Thursday)** **Job Description:** - Become an integral part of a dynamic surgical team! - As a Registered Nurse First Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in: - Assisting the surgeon with exposure, hemostasis, and closure during surgical procedures. - Ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes under the surgeon's supervision. **Essential Job Duties:** - Prepare and organize sterile supplies, instruments, equipment, and drapes for surgeries. - Position patients safely for surgical procedures, prioritizing their comfort and safety. - Provide visualization and utilize techniques for effective hemostasis. - Assist with the closure of body planes using appropriate methods. - Apply wound dressings and secure drainage systems to tissue. - Utilize surgical equipment safely, including pneumatic tourniquets, electrocautery, and endoscopy equipment. - Undertake additional duties as requested, contributing to a collaborative work environment. **Required Qualifications:** - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin. - Graduate of an accredited nursing program. - Completed an accredited RN First Assistant (RNFA) program or recognized first-assisting education. - BLS certification within 6 months of hire. - Preferred: 1+ years of related operating room/surgical experience. - Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. **Shift Information:** - Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. - Call required: One weekend per month and seven additional nights per month. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
