Description:
Local hiring differs.
Traveler must be credentialed through the health system.
This will require an application to be completed once the offer is accepted.
The credentialing process takes several weeks.
Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, CNOR, and CRNFA.
Experience in an acute hospital operating room is essential.
Skills required include performing abdominal hysterectomies, amputations, arthroscopies, and laparoscopic procedures.
Understanding of aseptic techniques and ability to assist with various surgical procedures is needed.
Candidates should have experience with patient care for adolescents, infants, adults, and pediatrics.
Daily census typically ranges from 8 to 12 patients.
Special interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
Candidates must provide accurate work history going back 7 years.
All certifications must be in hand at the time of submission.
Specific charting experience is required, preferably with Epic.
Must be available for pre-employment lab work within 3-5 days of signing.
Candidates must be prepared to state any background hits or DUIs prior to submission.
