Key Responsibilities
- Work directly alongside the lead surgeon in the operating room throughout surgical procedures
- Manage patient care during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
- Control bleeding, retract and hold tissue, and perform wound closure as directed by the surgeon
- Contribute to the efficiency and safety of surgical operations
- Apply advanced perioperative nursing skills to support optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
- Minimum of 2 years of RNFA experience (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with Cerner EMR
- Background in a tertiary or teaching hospital environment
