Contract | Days | 4x10 or 3x12 shifts available (shift hours approximately 12:30–20:00)
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) across a broad range of surgical specialties including robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, ortho/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology
Perform both scrub and circulating roles as required throughout the assignment
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency in the operating room
May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility as needed
Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of the assignment
Commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 3 years of scrub and circulating experience required
Minimum of 1 year of overall relevant experience required
Proficiency in robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, ortho/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology surgical procedures
2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (may include Charge RNs or Leads)
Must live within 50 miles of the facility to be considered; locals are accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in a high-volume surgical environment with diverse case types
Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical platforms
Demonstrated flexibility with scheduling and willingness to support holiday coverage
