Key Responsibilities- Serve as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) in an active operating room environment
- Assist surgeons during operative procedures within an 8-bed surgical unit
- Maintain perioperative patient safety standards throughout the surgical continuum of care
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to facility dress code and utilize facility-provided scrubs during all shifts
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of current First Assist Operating Room experience required
- Bachelor of Science degree required
- Active Massachusetts RN License required
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
- Active Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification required
- Must have personal reliable transportation
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health records system highly preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in a perioperative or surgical setting
