Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days 4x10 (6:45 AM - 5:15 PM) | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Circulate and/or scrub procedures in the Endovascular Operating Room and Endovascular Lab
- Utilize the nursing process to perform perioperative patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for all age groups
- Develop and implement individualized perioperative nursing care plans in collaboration with the surgical team, coordinating care throughout the patient's entire perioperative experience
- Apply advanced principles of asepsis, infection control, wound exposure, and hemostasis techniques including manual, instrumental, and chemical methods
- Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
- Float to other OR units as needed
Required Qualifications- Current RN license meeting eligibility requirements for the state of Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of Endovascular OR RNFA experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Flu vaccination required (November 1 – April 1); approved exemptions accepted, declinations are not
- Ability to take call 24 hours per day on weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills- CNOR certification
- Scrub experience in the OR setting
- Experience with EPIC EMR
