# Job Opportunity – Rehabilitation Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** September 2026**Location:** San Antonio, Texas**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** Full-time nursing position in a 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. Patient ratio 5-6:1. Flexible scheduling with approximately 4 weekend days per month. May float to Med/Surg or Med/Oncology units as needed.**Highlights:**- Work in a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation setting with a collaborative interdisciplinary team including PT, OT, ST, and Dietitians- Utilize modern equipment including Hoyer lifts, SCD machines, wound vacs, Smart Pumps, and Purwicks- EMR system: Meditech- Supportive team environment with charge nurse and team of RNs, LVNs, and Patient Care Techs on each shift- Perform diverse skill set including lab draws, diabetes management, wound care, ostomy care, IV/catheter placement- Professional development in rehabilitation nursing with focus on patient recovery and functional improvement**Requirements:**- Active Texas RN license- Current CPR/BLS certification- Strong communication and teamwork skills- Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams- Inpatient Rehabilitation experience preferred- Meditech EMR experience preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This rehabilitation nursing role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patients' recovery journeys in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
