Travel Nurse RN - Rehab - $1,840 per week in Hickory, NC

Job Opportunity – Inpatient Rehabilitation Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: North Carolina

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week; approximately 4 weekend shifts within each 6-week period

Highlights:

• Work in a CARF-accredited, 10-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit specializing in complex patient recovery
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including physical, occupational, and speech therapists
• Manage a diverse case mix including neurological diagnoses (stroke, brain injury, spinal cord dysfunction), amputations, orthopedic fractures, and major trauma recovery
• Support patients receiving intensive therapy services (minimum 3 hours daily) focused on functional recovery and independence
• Opportunity for both local and first-time travel nurses; locals welcome at competitive rates
• Quality Indicator (QI) credentialing provided as part of onboarding process

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina RN license or current Compact (Multi-State) RN license
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience required; additional experience preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Quality Indicator (QI) credentialing required (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Candidates must not have previously worked at this facility as staff
• Completion of required lab work within 72 hours of contract signing
