Travel Nurse RN - Rehab - $1,984 per week in Salem, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Valid Nursing License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Rehabilitation experience BLS certification Valid Nursing License Description: General Comments: Inpatient rehabilitation unit with 35 beds. Patient ratios are 5-7 patients per RN. Staffing includes 2-4 techs based on census. Equipped with vital machines, IV pumps, SCDs, and bladder scanners. Documentation system is Meditech. Shifts are 12 hours with every other weekend required. Floating to other departments may be necessary. Preferred experience in rehabilitation. Advanced skills are not needed for this position. Common procedures performed include medication administration, IVs, PICC and PEG tube administration, bladder scans, trach care, tube feeding, Foley catheter insertion, bladder irrigation, and blood administration. Dress code is navy blue or white solid scrubs.
