Travel Nurse RN - Rehab - $2,076 per week in Reston, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Rehabilitation experience preferred - Med/Surg or PCU experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Rehabilitation unit. The unit has 18 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. Tech staffing ratio is 1:12, with 2 techs for 16-18 patients. The required equipment includes Accuvein, Welch Allen Vitals machine, Baxter IV pumps, SCDs, bladder scanner, and Kangaroo pumps. Documentation is completed using a specific system. Nursing staff will work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required. Floating may occur to other departments depending on experience. Patient experience in rehabilitation is preferred. Advanced skills are not required for this position. Procedures performed on the unit include medication administration (oral, topical, IV), central line management, PEG tube administration, bladder scans, trach care, tube feeding, Foley catheterization, TPN, and blood administration. The dress code requires navy blue scrubs.
