Job Opportunity – Rehabilitation Registered Nurse – Virginia

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Salem, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required. Inpatient Rehabilitation unit with 5-7:1 patient ratios. 35-bed unit with tech support available per census (typically 2-4 techs).

Highlights:

• Inpatient Rehabilitation specialty with focus on functional improvement and patient independence
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiatrists, Physician Assistants, and Neuropsychologists
• Perform specialized procedures including IV and PICC line medication administration, PEG tube care, trach care, tube feeding, bladder scans, Foley catheterization, bladder irrigation, and blood administration
• Electronic medical records system: Meditech
• Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps, vitals machines, SCDs, and bladder scanners
• Potential to float to other Medical-Surgical departments based on facility needs

Requirements:

• Active Virginia RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Rehabilitation nursing experience required
• Medical-Surgical experience preferred
