Job Summary: Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor RN position available in a healthcare facility located in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting. The role involves providing specialized nursing care for adult and geriatric rehabilitation patients with neurological, orthopedic, and other complex conditions. The nurse will support patients' recovery process through dedicated, patient-centered care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
Job Details:
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week, with start dates beginning on 10/19/2026 and ending on 12/14/2026.
Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, BSN or higher degree, 2+ years of clinical experience in an adult rehabilitation setting (no new graduates), and experience with ER, med-surg, step down, wound care, respiratory treatment, BiPAP, CPAP.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro, ortho, or cancer patient populations; team-oriented, adaptable, and flexible personality traits.
Additional Information: Candidates will be scheduled to work on either of two floors within the nursing unit, with a patient ratio of approximately 6-7:1 for RNs/LPNs and about 10:1 for CNAs. Knowledge of Cerner electronic health record system is required.
