Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Nurse (RN) Night Shift located at a state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital specializing in adult and geriatric patient care. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients recovering from neurological injuries, orthopedic trauma, and other complex conditions, facilitating their rehabilitation and independence. The role requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, BSN or higher degree, 2+ years of experience, experience with IRF (Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility) or MED-SURG units, must have Cerner electronic health record experience, must be located within the specified geographical area
• Preferred Qualifications: Step Down, Wound Care, Respiratory Treatment, BiPAP, CPAP skills
• Additional Information: Nursing unit includes adult and geriatric rehabilitation patients with a typical RN-to-patient ratio of approximately 6-7:1, utilizing equipment such as Cerner and Omnicell. Candidates will be scheduled on either floor of a two-floor nursing unit, with no float requirements. The first day report time is 0645 or 1845.
