Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor RN position available in a state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to adult patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses, including post-surgical, stroke, and cardiac conditions. The position emphasizes high accountability, teamwork, and patient-focused service in a dynamic rehabilitation environment located in a hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN license, CNA certification, no minimum experience required, located within the healthcare provider's service area
• Preferred Qualifications: Rehabilitation experience is a plus but not required
• Additional Information: This position involves caring for adult patients aged 18 and over with diagnoses such as post-surgical recovery, stroke, cardiac conditions, and hemodialysis. The unit utilizes hospital standard lift equipment, with no vents or other invasive devices. The team operates EPIC electronic health record system. The unit includes 80 beds with RN staffing ratios of approximately 1:6 or 1:7, and CNA ratios of 1:10 or 1:12. Successful candidates demonstrate high accountability, teamwork, patient focus, and excellent customer service. The first day shift report time is 6:45 am; scrub color for RNs is navy, and for CNAs is red. Parking is available in a large lot adjacent to the facility.
