Job Details
- Schedule: Shift time is days, with a shift duration of 8 hours, and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), valid California state nursing license, and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, previous work on a medical-surgical rehabilitation floor, and familiarity with acute inpatient rehab and orthopedic patient care.
- Float: Float rotation may be required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals depending on census and staffing needs.

- The assignment involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, and pulmonary conditions.
- Patients participate in therapy modules daily, combining physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology services, with at least one year of rehab experience being a hard stop.
- Traveler must be willing to work two of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
- Valid California license in hand required; pending licenses are not accepted.
- The role may involve working with assistive devices, managing ports, and maintaining strict infection prevention and safety protocols.
