Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in an inpatient hospital and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care and medical-surgical nursing, along with experience in rehabilitation environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies.
• Perform phlebotomy and assist with gastric tube feeds as needed.
• Lead and coordinate patient care as the Charge Nurse on assigned shifts.
• Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience in acute care/medical-surgical settings preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in rehabilitation settings such as similar facilities.
• Proficient in using Cerner electronic health record system.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; NIH certification preferred but can be obtained onsite.
• IV certification and experience in administering IV medications.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and accept feedback positively.

• Shift: Night shifts with 3x12-hour rotations.
• Flexibility to float between like units as needed.
• Opportunity for extension beyond initial placement of 8 weeks.
