Available Schedules & Pay Packages

  • 36 Hours/Week: $25/hour + stipend package
  • 48 Hours/Week: $27/hour + stipend package (increased pay package)

Shifts Available

  • Days: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 24-bed General Medical Rehabilitation unit. The Rehabilitation RN is responsible for helping patients achieve and maintain maximum functional independence following chronic illness, neurological conditions, traumatic injuries, and other debilitating diagnoses. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, creating individualized care plans, providing direct patient care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support recovery goals.

Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Rehabilitation nursing experience preferred
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • CRRN certification preferred (may be required per facility/state requirements)
  • Current TB screening and health documentation as required
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Contract Details

  • 13-week contract with extension opportunities available
  • 100-mile radius rule applies to all contracts

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required to be considered. Experience in rehabilitation, med-surg, neuro, or acute care settings is strongly preferred. This is a 24-bed General Medical Rehabilitation Unit (Mary Free Bed) caring for stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputee, neurological, and deconditioned patients. 36-hour and 48-hour contract options available, with increased pay on the 48-hour schedule. Candidate interview with the facility is required prior to offer. 100-mile radius rule applies for all contracts. Charting system: Cerner. Travelers should be comfortable working in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to help patients achieve maximum independence.
