Job Description:

The RN in the Surgical ICU (SICU) will provide high-quality, patient-focused care in a critical care setting. The role requires managing patients with complex medical conditions and emergencies.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients condition and provide appropriate treatment
• Administer medications and manage life support equipment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for patient care planning
• Document patient care and condition using Meditech system
• Adhere to hospital and unit guidelines for patient safety and care

Requirements:

• Strong critical thinking skills
• Minimum 2-3 years of ICU experience
• Active TX RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted)
• ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification
