TRAVEL - RN - SICU (650) - Wesley Medical Center - 7A - 7P - BACKFILL
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Surgical ICU (SICU) assignment on the 2nd floor
• Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 for high acuity patients including post-CABG patients (estimated, not guaranteed)
• Work alongside a team of 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech per shift
• Operate and work with specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia devices, and ECMO
• EMR system: Meditech
• Perform care for trauma patients, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU patients
• Manage chest tubes, central lines, and medication drips
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH stroke scale
• TNCC preferred
• Prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities preferred
• Ideal candidate is driven, organized, efficient, and maintains a positive and engaged attitude

The unit supports a robust clinical team and handles complex, high-acuity patients including post-surgical and trauma cases. The facility utilizes advanced medical technology and equipment to support comprehensive critical care services.
