Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Surgical position located in Damariscotta, Maine. This role involves providing specialized critical care to surgical patients within a fast-paced facility, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through proficient clinical skills and teamwork.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: The shifts are scheduled for nights, totaling 12 hours per shift. The minimum guaranteed hours per week are 36.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 5 years of experience including travel experience, certifications in relevant modules, and proficiency with ventilators, vasoactive drips, and other ICU equipment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: ICU/Surgical Specialty experience, comfort with ventilators and ICU protocols.
  • Float: Occasional float to Medical-Surgical Environment, if required.
  • Additional Information: The role involves caring for ICU/IMC/MS/Swing (rarely) patients with an emphasis on teamwork, proactive communication, and high standards. The unit is equipped with ventilators, ceiling lifts, plumb pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, and SCD boots. The dress code is navy blue scrubs.
