Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro/Surgical Telemetry – Tennessee

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Jackson, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM. Weekend requirement of 3 shifts per 4-week schedule. Holiday availability required. No on-call requirements.

Highlights:

• Neuro/Surgical Telemetry floor with a 30-bed unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Patient ratio of 4-5 patients per nurse across all shifts
• Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response, pharmacy, and lift teams
• Float capability to other Medical/Surgical Telemetry units or low-acuity ICU as needed
• 36 hours of orientation provided to support a smooth transition
• Local candidates and first-time travelers welcome at the same rate

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required; minimum 2 years of overall nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience within the last 18 months required and must be clearly documented; Epic competency exam must be passed
• Travel nursing experience preferred; charge nurse experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Two supervisory references required at time of submission
