**Join Our Dynamic Cardiac Med Intermediate Team!** - **Position:** RN - Cardiac Stepdown - **Location:** 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128 - **Shift:** Night Shift (1900-0730) - **Assignment Length:** 16 weeks - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** Choose 36 or 48 hours - **Weekend Requirements:** As needed/every other weekend - **Call Requirements:** None **Patient Care Responsibilities:** - Utilize the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care for all age groups. - Conduct comprehensive assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. - Monitor and coordinate activities with ancillary departments to enhance patient comfort. - Maintain patient rights and confidentiality throughout treatment. - Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal care. **Unit Overview:** - **Beds:** 32 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:3-1:4 - **Equipment Utilized:** Chest tubes, Temp Pacemakers, Bipaps - **EMR System:** EPIC **Qualifications:** - **Required:** - Current RN License (in Missouri or eligible) - BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA only - 1 year of experience in Cardiac Stepdown (inpatient only) - **Preferred:** - NIHSS certification - Experience with post-op CABG/Valve patients, thoracotomies, respiratory failure, and chest pain **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: All black with Mercy logo - Unacceptable Attire: Hoodies, jackets without logo, t-shirts, open-toed shoes, earbuds, fake nails **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
