This 13-week night shift contract (3x12-hour shifts) offers a competitive weekly blended rate of $2,340. It's ideal for RNs experienced in intermediate care, providing close monitoring and advanced nursing support for patients transitioning from ICU or requiring frequent observation.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
  • Provide care for patients transitioning from ICU-level care or requiring frequent monitoring.
  • Monitor telemetry, titrate drips, and manage non-invasive ventilation as needed.
  • Perform detailed assessments and respond rapidly to changes in patient status.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and provide patient education.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to unit protocols and hospital policies.
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
  • Active Montana RN license (or compact eligible).
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Minimum 2 years' recent Stepdown/PCU/IMCU experience.
  • Proficient in telemetry monitoring, cardiac medications, and high-acuity assessments.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity environment.
