This is a fantastic opportunity for a nursing professional with experience in step-down care environments, focusing on conditions such as congestive heart failure, post-heart catheterization, and respiratory failure. As a Step-Down RN, you will work closely with a variety of patient populations in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities of the Step-Down RN- Provide specialized care for patients with cardiac conditions and respiratory failure
- Administer medications and manage cardiac drips with precision
- Conduct regular vital sign and neurovascular checks
- Oversee post-heart catheterization and vascular procedure recovery
- Assist with respiratory management using BiPAP/CPAP
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care
Requirements of the Step-Down RN- Active RN license with 2+ years of recent step-down experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Competency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and management
- Proficiency in IV start and maintenance, PICC line management
- Experience in procedural sedation administration and monitoring
- Ability to manage BiPAP/CPAP and assist with chest tube procedures
