As a specialist in Neuro Stepdown, this role involves working with patients who require responsive care and drip titration. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Care for Neuro Stepdown/Progressive patients
• Titrate drips if experienced, float to MedSurg/tele units otherwise
• Utilize equipment such as EPIC, PYXIS, Philips defibrillator, and Philips Bedside Monitors

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• IN or compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH certification (can be obtained before start)
• Minimum 2 years of PCU or Stepdown experience, with previous neuro experience required
