This travel assignment specializes in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU), providing care for patients with a range of conditions including neuro, cardiac, and trauma cases. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

Provide advanced nursing care based on unit specifics such as neuro, cardiac, trauma cases
Administer interventions for conditions like COPD, DKA, Sepsis, and MI
Operate specialized equipment such as temp pacers, chest tubes, and A lines
Assist respiratory therapists with chronic ventilation care
Ensure comprehensive patient care for individuals aged 18 years to adults

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
ACTIVE NY RN License and verification of all RN licenses via NURSYS
2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU and documented travel experience
EPIC EMR experience required
