Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown- Provide care to patients with medical-surgical, cardiac, IDDM, COPD, trauma, ortho, ENT, and urology conditions.
- Titrate drips effectively in the Stepdown unit and manage Heparin drips on the floor.
- Read and interpret telemetry strips.
- Work collaboratively with the charge nurse and house supervisor on each shift.
- Utilize the EPIC charting system for patient documentation.
Requirements of the RN - Stepdown- BLS and ACLS certifications are required
- Experience with titration of drips
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
- Drivers license with address outside 50 miles from the facility
