Location: Weirton, WV

Pay: $2,490.48 per week

Shifts: 12 hr day/night rotate, weekends as scheduled

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN - Stepdown for a travel assignment in Weirton, WV. This role is within an acute care setting, focusing on patients with cardiac needs and other critical conditions. The position requires a strong background in telemetry and experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), ensuring top-notch patient care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

Monitoring and managing cardiac patients and those post-procedures such as catheterizations
Administering and titrating medications including cardizem, amio, nitro, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, and angiomax
Collaborating with the healthcare team including hospitalists and RTs to provide comprehensive care
Reading and interpreting telemetry strips accurately
Providing patient care including ADLs, vitals, feeding, and repositioning

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

Valid RN license
ACLS and BLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in Stepdown/PCU
Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and administrating cardiac drips
