This assignment offers a competitive weekly rate of $2,500 based on a 3x12s Night shift schedule. Key Responsibilities of the Travel Stepdown RN:

Provide high-quality nursing care to stepdown/intermediate care patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms, titrate medications, and manage complex clinical needs
Perform frequent assessments and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and healthcare teams
Manage IV infusions, advanced monitoring equipment, and telemetry
Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR

Requirements of the Travel Stepdown RN:

Active Illinois RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
BLS and ACLS required
Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown/PCU or ICU experience
Strong critical thinking and patient-assessment skills
