Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN for a Travel Stepdown position in Peoria, IL. This role involves working in a 21-bed unit catering to patients with a variety of medical, neuro, and surgical conditions. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown - Travel- Provide care for 3 patients with diverse medical, neuro, and surgical conditions
- Titrate various drips including Cardene, Cardizem, Amio, Dobutamine, Heparin, and Vasopressors
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-focused care
- Utilize bedside monitors and confirm interpretations provided by tele techs
- Adapt to floating requirements, including potential shifts to ICU or General Medicine units
Requirements of the RN - Stepdown - Travel- Active IL license or confirmation of application process initiation
- BLS certification required; ACLS recommended
- ICU/Intermediate (Stepdown) experience with a 3:1 or 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Proficiency in handling trach and vent patients
