Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to join the Stepdown unit in Peoria, IL. This is a travel assignment for professionals with a strong background in Intermediate and ICU-level care. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown
Manage a nurse to patient ratio of 3:1 in providing comprehensive care
Administer and titrate drips including Cardene, Cardizem, Amio, Dobutamine, and Heparin
Provide care for patients with a range of conditions including COPD, CHF, and Sepsis
Collaborate effectively with charge nurses, house supervisors, and PCTs
Adapt to floating assignments as needed across Stepdown, ICU, and Gen Med units
Requirements of the RN - Stepdown
Active IL license or confirmation of application initiation
BLS certification required; ACLS recommended
Experience with trach and vent patients
ICU/Intermediate experience with a nurse to patient ratio of 3:1
Ability to read and confirm tele strips
