Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Travel RN | Med-Surg/Stepdown Flex Unit | Weekend Nights
Work three 12-hour night shifts, 7 p.m.–7:30 a.m., on either a Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday schedule. This acute care flex unit serves primarily medical patients at med-surg or stepdown level according to hospital needs.
Requirements: AHA BLS, Epic experience, and the ability to manage an assignment of up to six med-surg patients or three stepdown patients.
The facility will consider candidates who are obtaining their license.
RNs manage ordered drip titrations, which may include heparin, insulin, antihypertensives, antiarrhythmics, sedation or pain medications, and PCAs. Patients may use CPAP or BiPAP; stepdown may also care for patients on high-flow oxygen or ventilators. Telemetry support is available, and RNs are not expected to read their own strips.
Scheduling and unit details: No call or standby. Travelers float first to other med-surg or stepdown units. Expect to work approximately half of WVUH-recognized holidays. Royal blue and white scrubs.
