This role specializes in Intermediate Care Unit (IMU) nursing, ensuring critical patient care and effective management of step-down type conditions. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown - Travel- Manage care for patients with post MI with sheath pull, ADHS, postoperative vascular issues, GI bleed, and DKA
- Titrate drips such as Nitroglycerine, Neo, and Cardene
- Interpret and monitor telemetry strips for all patients
- Collaborate with charge nurse and house supervisor for patient and unit management
Requirements of the RN - Stepdown - Travel- Active RN License in West Virginia
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience with typical step down type patients
- Proficient in EPIC Charting System
