Job Opportunity – Step-Down Neuro Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: September 25, 2026

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts. Contract length of 13-20 weeks with winter coverage focus. Holiday rotation required (at least every other holiday).

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in Step-Down Neuro specialty
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience strongly preferred
• Professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director from within the past 12 months
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Clear background check with no open cases and clean license history
